Pacific Northwest Mortgage Expert ยท First-Time Buyers
Buying your first home doesn't have to feel overwhelming.
I've guided hundreds of first-time buyers through the mortgage process. Here's everything you need to know, explained in plain language.
Step by Step
The mortgage process, simplified.
Get Pre-Approved
Start by getting pre-approved. This tells you exactly what you can afford and makes your offer stronger when you find the right home. You'll need pay stubs, W-2s or tax returns, bank statements, and photo ID. The process typically takes 24 to 48 hours.
Find Your Home
Work with your real estate agent to find a home that fits your needs and budget. Your pre-approval letter shows sellers you're a serious, qualified buyer. Take your time and don't settle.
Complete Your Application
Once your offer is accepted, I'll guide you through the full mortgage application. You'll lock your interest rate, and I'll order the appraisal and begin processing your loan. I'll clearly list everything you need to provide.
Close and Get Your Keys
At closing, you'll sign the final documents and fund your loan. I'll walk you through everything so there are no surprises. Once it's done, you're officially a homeowner. Congratulations.
